Agadir Buggy Adventure

If you want an experience that’ll get the adrenaline pumping through your veins, then this thrilling buggy adventure is for you. You’ll be able to admire the coastal and rural landscape just outside of Agadir, but in a way that you won’t forget.

After a quick introduction to buggy handling and a safety briefing from your guide, you’ll be ready for the off. Hop into your two-seater buggy and set off into the countryside leaving just a cloud of dust behind you. You’ll have fun speeding along country tracks and testing your off-road driving skills.

We’ll stop at a mid-way point and take a break in a local house for some traditional sweet Moroccan tea and homemade bread. And after recharging your batteries, it’s time for the second half of your buggy adventure as we head back to the starting point. You’ll then be transferred back to your hotel in a much more sedate style.

Jack Sparrow – Pirates Cruise.

For a swashbuckling adventure on the water, look no further than a cruise on the Jack Sparrow. Think stunning scenery and pirate-themed fun for all the family as you set sail along Agadir’s Atlantic coastline.

All dark wood and sturdy sails, the Jack Sparrow is every bit the pirate ship. Welcomed aboard by the crew, we’ll cast off into the Atlantic and let the fun begin. Kids can be wowed with plenty of pirate themed games and activities while grown-ups can grab themselves a glass of something cold from the bar.

And when you’re not admiring the views of the Agadir coastline, you’ve plenty of time to top up your tan or just sit back, relax and feel the wind in your hair. What’s more, you can enjoy a complimentary glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea or a soft drink as you cruise back to port. All in all, a great family day on the waves.

Agadir Jet Ski Experience

Tearing through the sea with a cool breeze blowing by is a tough holiday experience to beat. So this jet-ski ride along the Agadir coast is a must.

After a quick briefing at base, the fun begins. Zooming out to sea, you’ll leap through the waves as you enjoy views of the bright blue water and white sand beaches. And as most jet-ski are built for two, you can choose between taking control in the driver’s seat and admiring the scenery as a passenger.

Then, after some time at sea, you’ll do the trip in reverse. Picking up speed on the return, you’ll power through the water, feeling the wind in your hair. All in all, it’s one adrenaline-pumping experience.

Inzerki 4×4 Tour

Set in the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, you’ll find the oldest and largest collective apiary in the world. This full day tour sees you travelling through staggering countryside around Agadir with photo opportunities of the Sous Valley and a homemade traditional lunch for good measure. This is one of our TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while showcasing its unique, authentic and responsible values.

We’ll kick off this tour by driving towards the village of Inzerki, where a UNESCO-protected apiary – where bees are kept –dating back to the 1800s is still in use today thanks to the ‘Taddart Inzerki’ association. But first, you’ll get some panoramas of the Sous Valley and the argan forests between Azrarag and Amskroud.

Then, take a tour around the apiary with a member of the association to learn about this ancient tradition, before setting off to Auberge Zolado. A freshly prepared lunch awaits alongside heavenly views of the dam and mountains. We’ll return to Agadir, stopping at an argan cosmetics cooperative on the way.

Agadir Fishing Experience

Sailing out of Agadir, you’ll have nothing but peace and tranquillity around you on this fishing expedition aboard the Cala Iris. Sunbathe on board, jump into the ocean for a swim or two and take in the views – and then cast that rod into the Atlantic. And it goes without saying, there’s a fresh fish lunch on board, too.

After pick-up at your hotel, join the crew at the port and sail out to a place where you can try your hand at fishing. And in between stops, you can work on that tan on the open sundeck. Fishing equipment and bait are provided. All you need to bring is your bathing gear and camera for those Insta-perfect moments.

Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked fish lunch surrounded by azure waters and the mountains way off in the distance. What’s more, there’ll be another swimming stop for you to freshen up, before the boat speeds back along the coast to dry land

High Atlas Flavours 4×4 Tour

From sea level to high altitude, this is a full day trip with a side-order of adventure. You’ll travel by 4×4 high into the Atlas Mountains from the coastal plains of Agadir for views over valleys and time to discover picturesque Berber villages.

Your High Atlas Mountains off-road adventure tour begins with a photo stop at the cool, palm-clad Tamzargout oasis, where we can stretch our legs. As we travel higher up into the mountains, the jaw-dropping views over Paradise Valley are sure to leave an impression. We’ll arrive at the Berber village of Tiskijji to visit a traditional Berber house and experience a traditional breakfast of homemade bread and mint tea before setting off for a drive along mountain roads to Immouzer.

Here we’ll be able to admire the rocky panorama and then walk down from the fort for an al-fresco three-course lunch. You’ll have some free time to sit back and take in your surroundings before we return to Agadir through the mountains along a different route.

Essaouira UNESCO Heritage Site

Known as the ‘Jewel of the Atlantic’, Essaouira is an atmospheric fishing port with age-old souks, pastel blue seaside houses, and a bustling UNESCO-listed medina. You’ll have plenty of time to discover this coastal gem with a guided tour and a visit to Espace Othello Gallery. This is one of our TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while showcasing its unique, authentic and responsible values.

Leaving Agadir in the early morning, we’ll travel to Essaouria via Tamri – a surfer’s paradise – for a panoramic view of the beach and then an argan cooperative to find out about the production process. In the city, your guide will take you around the fortified medina, port, market, jewellers’ district and the artisan complex.

In the afternoon, you’ll have free time for lunch and exploring the city at your own pace. Haggle for souvenirs and walk along the golden sandy beach before rounding off the day browsing the artworks at the Espace Othello Gallery.

Agadir Camel Safari

There’s no more Moroccan way to go sightseeing than on the back of a camel. And with this two-hour camel ride, you’ll be at one with nature as well. We’ll journey to the Souss Massa National Park, just south of Agadir, where you’ll have the chance to spot hundreds of colourful species of birds.

We’ll head to a ranch in Souss Massa, where you’ll be partnered with a camel between two people before beginning your adventure. The national park is famed as a bird sanctuary – one that all the family can enjoy. The camel trail takes you through parts of Souss Massa where you can spot pink flamingos, among the many species that make this protected area their habitat.

Over the two hours, you’ll enjoy a privileged view over the countryside and the chance to spot wildlife in its natural surroundings. Once you arrive back at the ranch, you’ll be treated to some sweet Moroccan tea and tasty pastries in typical local hospitality – a great way to round off your experience.

Paradise Valley

If you’re an early bird and you love making the most of your mornings, then a two-hour trek in the Atlas Mountains will leave you feeling invigorated and ready to explore. You’ll be led by an expert guide on a trek through Taghrat Ouankrim, not far from Agadir.

You’ll head out into the peace and quiet of the Atlas Mountains early in the morning to avoid the heat of the midday sun. Along the journey, you’ll stop at Alma village to take in the views as well as the verdant green Tamzargout Oasis for a photo stop. Once we arrive at Aksri village, a typical Berber village, you’ll be treated to a traditional breakfast – ideal for charging your batteries ahead of the trek.

From here, you’ll then set off on a two-hour trail, passing by deep craggy gorges, soaring summits and the rocky expanses of Paradise Valley. This trail is a great opportunity to experience the Atlas Mountains up close and escape into the tranquillity of nature.

Marrakech full-day excursion from Agadir

From Agadir, you will have 3 hours drive on the motorway to Marrakech. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the history and culture of this mysterious city. Upon arrival, you will first stop at La Koutoubia Mosque the landmark of the city where its 12-century minaret can be seen from every point of the city

You will then continue unfolding the secrets of Marrakech by visiting the 19th century Bahia Palace which reflects the beauty of Moroccan architecture.
From here you will walk to the Saadian tombs where the Royal Saadian family is buried containing 66 marble and stucco decorated tombs.

After a delicious lunch (not included) at a Moroccan Riad, you will walk into the Medina with its labyrinthine streets and colorful Souks.

Your Marrakech shore excursion will end in the legendary Jamaa El Fna square where you will watch snake charmers, fortune tellers, acrobats, fire eaters, and musicians perform in harmony. Time permitting, you can enjoy a cup of mint tea in the rooftop terrace of Café de France overlooking the hectic square. Your full-day Marrakech shore excursion journey will end at Agadir port.

PS: some times if your cruise ship is disembarking from Casablanca and embarkation is scheduled in Agadir, there is a possibility of doing an overnight shore excursion to Marrakech for 2 days, and we will drive at the end of the second day to Agadir port.

Half-day Agadir shore excursion

Agadir, thanks to its year-long sunshine is a major beach resort that attracted European tourists for so long. An earthquake has struck in the 1960s, and only the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella has remained. Your visit will start there, with a breathtaking view of Agadir’s golden sand beaches.

After a panoramic drive to explore the resort town, you will continue to the Berber market where you can find everything, from spices and craftwork to vegetables.

After some time at leisure in the Corniche to stretch your legs on the beach or have a cup of tea in a café terrace, drive back to Agadir port, where your shore excursion ends.

Tiout Taroudant Tour

Tiout oasis and Taroudant are just a short distance away and can be visited on this daytrip from Agadir. You’ll walk through the palm-filled oasis of Tiout and mingle with locals in Taroudant’s souk, while discovering the traditional way of life in Morocco.

We’ll set off towards Tiout, admiring the argan trees that characterise the countryside. You’ll stop for photo opportunities and you might even be able to spot the goats feeding up in the trees. We’ll then take a short break for a traditional Moroccan mint tea before exploring Tiout. Here, you’ll have the chance to walk in among this natural oasis filled to the brim with more than 2,000 palm trees. Enjoy the cooling effect of the oasis and rest up in a local kasbah for lunch.

Next up is the beautiful walled city of Taroudant, where we’ll stop to admire the mud-red ramparts. Last but not least, your guide will lead you through the maze of souks and take you for a refreshing tea before heading back to your hotel.

Fantasia Dinner Show

You’ll enjoy a night full of Moroccan flavour at the Fantasia Show and banquet. The kids will be star-struck by Arabian warriors on horseback, glittering belly dancers, and dare-devil acrobats, and on top of that you’ll feast on a five-course dinner featuring delicious local specialities.

The night gets into full swing as soon as you arrive with folklore singers and Moroccan dancers greeting you at the door. You’ll be seated in a traditional Bedouin tent that sets the scene for an evening of delight ahead of you. You’ll be served a five-course Moroccan meal consisting of local specialities, and then you can relax with a soothing mint tea and a plate of biscuits ready for the grand finale – the Fantasia Show.

Belly dancers, acrobats, Arabian warriors and dancing horses come out on stage to show you their incredible and dazzling skills. It’s a full-on and fun-packed evening for all the family.

Agadir Hot Air Balloon Ride

This early morning hot air balloon ride from Agadir features a bird’s-eye view to beat all others. You’ll float through the sky on an hour-long ride with the Atlas Mountains, Atlantic Ocean and tiny Berber villages stretching out from beneath your feet. Round it off with a typical Berber breakfast before transfer back to your hotel.

You’ll begin at the crack of dawn with a 4×4 ride across the land to where your hot air balloon is being prepared for take-off. A small continental breakfast will be served as they inflate the balloon, then once you’re in the basket, you’ll start to rack up the distance between you and the ground as you glide through the sky.

On a clear day, you’ll see the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the distance and the sparkle of the Atlantic Ocean contrast against the arid landscape sprinkled with Berber villages. After you’ve landed, you’ll be invited into a Berber tent for a typical breakfast before the return journey.

It’s the classic mode of transportation in Morocco – a camel trail through the desert. On this sunset tour, you’ll tower above the dunes and ride through Souss-Masa National Park. Then round off the evening with a tea and a freshly sizzled barbecue dinner in the open air.

After pick-up from your hotel, you’ll arrive at the camel ranch ready for your desert adventure. With two people per camel, you’ll sway through the countryside towards Souss-Massa, a renowned bird sanctuary. Here, you’ll have the best vantage point to spot the changing colours and wildlife, including fluorescent pink flamingos if you’re lucky.

Carriage Ride to Agadir Medina

Exploring the medina of Agadir and the River Souss by horse-drawn carriage is a traditional and fun way of sightseeing. Your carriage will pick you up and take you around the main sights, leaving you enough free time to haggle for souvenirs in the market.

The caleche – or horse-drawn carriage – is a great way for all the family to see what’s on offer in and around Agadir. Once you leave the hotel, you’ll head out to discover the area around the River Souss, famous for the hundreds of species of birds that flock to the area. You’ll trot through typical Berber villages to catch a glimpse of the local pace of life before heading into the medina of Agadir.

Once inside the medina, you’ll then hop off the carriage and walk with your guide through the maze of stalls catching sight of all the main landmarks. Finally, enjoy some free time to browse for local handicrafts, spices, or furnishings before you’re dropped off back at the hotel.

This tour will take you to an entertaining 2-hour camel ride in Agadir. You will be picked up at your hotel and reach the Ranch. Once at the ranch, the camel guide will introduce you to your camel who is domestic and friendly and will give you a short briefing on the progress of the ride.

You will cross the village of Aghroud Bensergao and a eucalyptus forest and arrive at the Souss river. You will make a short break to take some pictures of the breathtaking views and maybe see some migratory birds such as flamingos.

After the ride, you will be back at the ranch where you will be served a mint tea and Moroccan cakes before enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by a starred chef.
