For an adventure into the Balkan mountains surrounding Sunny Beach, look no further than this extreme off-road excursion in the countryside. After a quick safety talk and information on the route ahead, you’ll set off in a 4×4. We’ll drive along off-road tracks passing through rivers, villages and panoramic viewpoints over Sunny Beach and Nessebar before a pause in the action for a refreshing drink and a few fun games – there’s even a prize for the winner.
Following a route along picturesque mountain roads to a mineral spring known for its warm healing water, we’ll rumble all the way to the village of Poroy. Here you’ll stop for a well-earned lunch of traditional Bulgarian dishes and roasted bacon on a spit before returning to your hotel

St. Anastasia Island is turning into destination of the region and major attraction on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast after being completely restored and renovated under a European project.
The island was inhabited by monks in the 14th century; pirates burned repeatedly the monastery buildings; and in 1923 the government turned it into a prison for opponents of the regime. In 1945 prisoners were sent again to the island, this time by the new “power of the people”. The entire turbulent history of the island will be preserved and exhibited in the building of the former monastery.

Nessebar Tour and Folk Evening
This tour packs in heritage, culture and folklore during your visit to Nessebar. And after exploring this historic town – known as the ‘pearl of the Black Sea’ – you’ll end your day on a scintillating high with a full-throated Bulgarian village feast.
You’ll begin with a guided walking tour of Nessebar old town of, which is crammed into a narrow peninsula jutting out into the Black Sea. Such is its wealth of history that Nessebar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site – it’s about the same size as the Vatican but with more churches. Winding streets and alleys of old timber homes lead you to tree-lined plazas with ruined Byzantine churches. There’ll be some free time before the day’s climax.
We’ll then head to a nearby village for a proper Bulgarian banquet at a folk-themed restaurant. Cue traditional folk songs and merrymaking. The highlight of the evening, tough, is the performance by the ‘nestinari’ – those who dance barefoot over the smouldering embers of a fire.

There are days at sea – and then there’s this adults-only VIP catamaran cruise in the Nessebar Bay, which takes it to another level. Sip on unlimited soft drinks and beer, and feast on a buffet lunch while soaking in the Black Sea sun. And there’s also a stop for swimming or snorkelling. A great day out.
After pick-up, you’ll head to harbour to board the catamaran. After a safety briefing and a welcome drink, it’s anchors aweigh as we glide into the bay. Cool off with a swim, work on your tan and bathe your cares away. Grab a drink from the bar and take in the views.
Your captain will then drop anchor for a spot of swimming. Masks and snorkels are available, too. While you’re enjoying your dip, a tasty buffet lunch will be prepared by the crew.
Southern Bulgaria Tour
An ancient seafront settlement on the Black Sea, Sozopol is a fascinating place to explore. Tour the cobbled streets and art galleries of the old quarter and enjoy a lunch of local favourites in a restaurant. Then after a boat cruise into Sozopol bay, it’s back on land to visit Ravadinovo castle – Bulgaria’s very own fairytale palace.
Take a guided walk around its winding cobbled streets and wooden houses and you’ll discover its history as an ancient Greek outpost. Taste some typical treats with lunch at a local restaurant then enjoy some free time to shop or explore.
Board a boat and we’ll take a short sail into Sozopol bay before heading back to shore for a visit to Ravadinovo castle – an award-winning attraction packed with enough spires, towers and marble statues to make Disney proud. Wandering palatial grounds and colourful gardens, you can head to the petting zoo for little ones, or just sit back and enjoy views over the man-made lake – it’s pure enchantment at every turn.

The southernmost village on the Black Sea coast, Rezovo village is as close to Turkey as you can get. You’ll journey by 4×4 along the coastline to see beautiful natural landscapes, tranquil villages, incredible rock formations by Rezovska River and panoramic bays.
We’ll get the tour started with a quick safety talk from your guide regarding the route and the day’s programme before you hop into a 4×4 and set off along the Black Sea coast. We’ll travel towards the border with Turkey stopping off for incredible photo opportunities along the way and drive through the area of Sinemorets, known for its pristine beaches.
Once we arrive at Rezovo, you’ll take a walk to Rezovska River to see fascinating rock formations before being treated to a honeydew honey tasting and time to soak up the tranquillity of the seaside village. Then visit Sveta Petka chapel and we’ll continue the tour to Silistar nature reserve where you can admire a wealth of flora and fauna, including otters, before returning to Bourgas.

Black Sea Moonlight Cruise
The Black Sea is just delightful on a clear night. Especially during a cruise beneath the moonlight for three hours on a ship. There’s an open bar, acoustic musical performances on the lower deck and two upper decks for serene stargazing in a very tranquil setting.
Climb aboard in Nessebar and settle in with a drink from the open bar as the boat pushes out into the moonlit waters of the Black Sea. After setting sail, you can choose to remain in the enclosed lower deck to take in the sweet sounds of an acoustic guitar player or to ascend to the upper decks.
Spend a tranquil three hours gently gliding through the water, watching the lights of the coastline drift by, or laying back and letting the stars and the moonlight wash over you.
Veleka Valley Boat Tour
The Veleka valley is one of Bulgaria’s true hidden gems. On this motorboat cruise along the River Veleka, you’ll discover landscapes barely changed by humans. From wooded banks to golden natural beaches and endemic fauna, this is the great outdoors as Mother Nature intended it.
The fun kicks off when you hop on a 4×4 and make for the starting point. Then, as you meander along the Veleka towards the Black Sea, you’ll experience an array of scenery and maybe even encounter amphibious animals such as turtles and snakes. The dense woodlands give way to the stunning beach of Sinemorets – one of the most beautiful in Bulgaria. It is formed from an 800-metre-long sandbar at the river’s mouth. On either side are cliffs – a coastal wilderness hard to come by in this day and age.
Markets, Malls & City Sights
If shopping is your thing, then heaven awaits on this full day tour to the village of Kableshkovo and city of Bourgas. First up is the traditional market in Kableshkovo followed by a visit to a shopping centre in Bourgas. Round off the day with free time in the city centre, where you’ll be able to sightsee of rest those limbs after all that shopping.
We’ll get the tour underway in Kableshkovo – a village where you’ll find a market crammed with stalls all stocked with everything Bulgarian – from wine to fresh produce, leather goods and more. Take some time to freely meander from stall to stall before we head to modern shopping mecca of Bourgas.
Once you’ve shopped till you dropped at the mall, you’ll be dropped off in the heart of the city where you can recuperate and explore at your own pace. Stroll through the Sea Garden or take the weight off your feet at one of the waterfront cafés.
Paradise Bay Cruise
Cruise into anywhere named Paradise Bay and you can be sure to expect plenty of sun, sea and spectacular scenery. Cast off in a sailing ship from Sozopol and relax in style as you cruise the coast. Top up your tan on deck, cool off with a swim and enjoy a light lunch complete with beer, wine or a soft drink on this fun-filled morning adventure.
Casting off from shore in a swish yacht, you can admire every inch of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. Welcomed aboard by the crew, little ones can be buccaneers for the day with a free bandana whilst grown-ups can kick back, relax and work on their tan.

Stroll the tree-lined streets of the shopping district and take in the sights. Abundant cafés and restaurants – some of which are the best in this region – make for a welcome break. There are also historic churches and museums worth checking out. And if you get shopping out of the way early, head over to the sea garden – a massive area of parkland running the length of the town, with terraces filled with manicured flowerbeds, sculptures and cafés facing onto the sea.

Vitosha Mountains hiking day trip with Dragalevtsi Monastery and Cherni Vruh climb
Explore the highest peak in Vitosha Mountains – at its foot lies the city of Sofia – is easily accessible. In this trekking tour to the top you will escape the city on a one and a half hours drive to Aleko Hut. Enjoy fantastic views of the Rila and Balkan Mountains as well as visiting Dragalevtsi Monastery en route.
From Aleko Hut, where you will leave your vehicle, the walk to the top will take about two hours, (+ 450 m). The slope is moderate, however you can choose a steep path if you prefer it and according to your wishes and abilities.
A marvelous view to Rila Mountains to the south and to Balkan Mountains to the north, is revealed from the top. A view to the city beneath will accompany you almost during the entire trekking. You can have lunch either at the small restaurant of the meteorological station at the top or at Aleko Hut.

Day trek to Rila Mountains and Mt Mousala from Sofia
Mousala is the highest peak (at 2925 m) not only in Rila Mountains, but on the whole Balkan Peninsula. Join this trekking experience and lose yourself in breathtaking views.
Your morning starts early with a transfer to Borovets ski resort (it takes about 1 hour 15 min), where you will take the cabin lift to Yastrebets hut (2370 m). This is the starting point of your 3-hour trek to the peak (+600 m). You will be led by well trodden paths, but a rocky ground.
The view from the top is really splendid so you can spend a short time admiring the views before taking the lift back.

Enjoy Sredna Gora, the perfect location for horse riding, in the very center of Bulgaria. Around the town of Hissar you’ll find beautiful nature and nice side roads, on which galloping feels like a flight. End the ride in one of the mineral swimming pools in the area.
You will meet your horse in the riding base in Hissar. After some brief instructions you can start riding in the outskirts of the town along meadows, fields, vineyards and oak trees, following various routes either to the village of Starosel or to the mountains.
Enjoy the riding for about 4-5 hours, during which you can admire the surroundings of Hissar. The town itself is known for its 22 healing mineral springs and ancient Roman ruins, including a several km fortress wall, encircling the modern center.

Take this day excursion to explore Vitosha Mountains highest peak, Cherni Vryh (The Black Peak) rising at 2290m and birdwatch with private transportation from your hotel included! The Seven lakes of Rila are a group of glacial lakes situated between 2100 and 2500 m above sea level, surrounded by rugged peaks and deep valleys.
After a transfer of 1.5-hours you will reach the Panichishte resort area, where you’ll board the chairlift to the Rila Lakes mountain hut. From here continue on foot to explore the cirque and its pearls – the Eye, the Tear, the Kidney, the Twins, the Trefoil, the Fish Lake and the Lower Lake.
The route is not difficult and can be altered on the spot depending on how fit you are, following either more gentle routes or steeper gradients.
